To prevent email impersonation and ensure delivery, Sirvoy checks the sender authentication policy of your email address found at Settings -> Your Account -> Contact Details.
Sirvoy will check for:
- Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, & Conformance (DMARC)
- DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM).
Regardless of your domain’s DMARC/DKIM setup, your messages will be delivered. Sirvoy will use its address to send your emails to guests as needed.
Notes:
- Applies to custom email domains, not major email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.).
- Contact your webmaster or web host support for help.
Verification Setups
DMARC Setup
- Go to your domain’s control panel.
- Set up DMARC per preference.
- If the DMARC policy is “none,” DKIM is not required for sending emails from your address.
- For “quarantine” or “reject,” DKIM is required for sending emails from your address.
- In Sirvoy, go to Settings -> Your Account -> Contact Details to auto-detect DMARC.
- All future emails will use your custom domain after passing the check.
DKIM Setup
- Request a DKIM key from support@sirvoy.com.
- Include your Sirvoy Account ID and domain name.
- Add the key to your DNS server.
- Contact Sirvoy support to enable the DKIM key.
If any issues persist, contact Sirvoy support.
